The Book of Job is about much more than suffering. Job’s main complaint is about
his justification before God. His friends deny it, he maintains it, and God won't
confirm it. Job understood Salvation by Grace long before the Old Testament was written,
let alone the New. As all OT books, Job points forward to the Perfect One. In this
case, Jesus suffered perfectly so we, his accusing friends might be justified.
